About
The Automatic Electrode Cleaner, AEC, provides a simple and automated method for quickly and consistently cleaning electrodes commonly used in 3SAE’s arc-based fusion splicers such as the Large Diameter Splicing system or Fitel S184 and fiber stripping products such as the Plasma Work Station and Fiber Prep Unit II.
Simply insert the dirty electrode into the guide and press the button for 10 seconds to efficiently remove contaminants from the electrode tips. The AEC runs on batteries so no additional power supply is required. Cleaning discs can be easily rotated to extend life by simply removing the magnetic lid.
