LEMO SMPTE Fusion Splicer

NorthLab Photonics offers the only fusion splicing technology designed for both factory and on-site termination of LEMO SMPTE 3K.93C series connectors by replacing the fiber optic connector polish process with a spliced fiber contact connector. Fusion splicing provides quick, reliable and simplified termination of SMPTE 311 cables for build-to-order, installation, or field repair applications.

Our partner 3SAE Technologies has through their exclusive partnership with LEMO developed portable, cost effective, HD broadcast termination using Fitel’s state of the art fusion splice technology. Modified specifically for LEMO SMPTE termination, the Fitel S153 HD features active xyz clad alignment and the S178 HD features core alignment fusion splicing technology. Additionally, both fusion splicer models are fully compatible with Fitel Splice-on Connectors (SOC), providing maximum termination flexibility for your most commonly used optical connectors (ST, SC, FC and LC).
