Meet with NorthLab Photonics at Photonics West in San Franscisco
We are exhibiting with our partner 3SAE in booth 4947. This year we are launching a couple of interesting new products/concepts.
- A software that can simplify inspection and alignment of specialty optic fibers such as structured fibers, multi core, PM and non-circular fibers. Especially those with larger dimensions. The software is used with our ProView interferometer and the FITEL S185 PMLDF/ROF fusion splicer, enabling communication between the two. End phase data from the ProView is used to remotely control the splicer during rotationally alignment of the fiber. This functionality can also be used to make a relative optimization of cleave angles , for examples when splicing LD fibers in high power laser applications.
- We are also launching the ProCleave LD-EC. This is a new version of the existing ProCleave LD that is optimized for cleaving fragile fibers, for example PCF and Air Clad.
