Ring of Fire™ technology

Is an exclusive 3SAE patented process which creates a large area plasma for splicing and processing optical fibers. The isothermic properties of the plasma facilitate splicing fibers >1mm in diameter without sacrificing splicing performance of standard fibers.

Liquid Clamp™ technology

This new patent pending process by 3SAE features a completely torque-free clamping system of optical fibers. The technology uses a proprietary metal alloy ingot that melts at less than the boiling point of water. This alloy is formulated to solidify tightly around the optical fiber when cooled, providing a torque-free clamping system.

Burst™ Technology

Is an exclusive 3SAE patented process for achieving ultra high strength stripping and cleaning of optical fiber. The unique process begins with a controlled, single high velocity “burst” of super heated air or nitrogen directed the optical fiber. The primary coating is rapidly heated, instantly vaporized and separated from the glass cladding underneath. The stripped region(s) of the fiber will remain intrinsically clean and in near pristine condition.
