Fiber Preparation Unit II
The 3SAE FPU II is a compact, non-contact, chemical free window and end stripper for polyimide-coated optical fibers. The FPU II is powered by 3SAE’s patented Ring of Fire® pulsed plasma etching technology to remove polyimide coatings safely and cleanly.
JIC-125, Fiber Optic Stripper
For stripping 250 micron buffer coating from 125 micron optical fiber. Preset at the factory so no adjustments are necessary. Yellow plastic dipped handles 5 3/16” long.
3SAE Ultrasonic Cleaner
Advanced ultrasonic fiber cleaner, designed specifically for fiber splicing applications. The 3SAE Ultrasonic Cleaner is designed for an operator independent operation, which guarantees consistent results and cleanliness. The fiber is loaded with a guiding rail for fiber holders, and all vital functions and processes are controlled automatically.
3SAE Thermal Stripper – Adjustable (LDF)
Thermo-mechanical fiber stripper designed for stripping Large Diameter Fibers (LDF). The stripper supports optical fibers with cladding diameters from 40μm to 1000μm and Coating diameters from 80 μm to 1200μm.
3SAE Thermal Stripper (HS)
Thermo-mechanical fiber stripper designed for High Strength stripping. The heating temperature is adjustable up to 200°C, this facilitates high strength fiber stripping of extremely difficult and baked-on coatings, in some cases even removal of fluoroacrylate undercoatings.
Plasma Work Station (PWS)
Advanced and fully automated window stripper for POLYIMIDE based fibers. The stripping process is completely chemical free and is utilizing the patented 3-Phase Plasma Technology, Ring of Fire®. This unique technology generates an extremely stabile and controlled stripping temperature, from 100°C to well over 3000°C. For optimal performance concerning fiber strength and cleanliness the coating is gently “pealed” off, layer by layer.
3SAE Auto Stripper II
Automated Mid Span Window Stripping Unit
Advanced and fully automated window stripper designed for High Strength and ultra clean stripping of ACRYLATE based coatings. The stripping process is completely chemical free and is utilizing the patented Burst™ Technology, which instantly vaporizes the fiber coating, without any contact with the glass. The AutoStripII meets the need for variable window strip lengths at high strength and ultra cleanliness (free of debris at x400 magnification).
